If she had said "I'm happier and you should learn to be atheist too, because God isn't real" that's more like what he said.

Not exactly, but even that is not pushing me to be atheist. You'd have to be pretty weak to think that's an attempt to push me into it.

An attempt doesn't have to work in order for it to be an attempt.

You can swing at someone and miss. You still swung with intent, and that annoys people. It can absolutely be a form of disrespect when the social convention is to simply not swing.

But you seem to be deliberately non-understanding of that.

I am saying that if you see me fanning myself and you feel this is me taking a swing, you have a warped idea about what is going on.

You are claiming the intent is to push people into Christianity. I don't see any attempt to push anyone. I see a dude sharing advice. There's no force behind it. There is just "This is a good thing" If you see "this is a good thing" and read it as "You have to do what I say" that's on you.

Oh jeez, yikes. That's...well he sure did say some stuff.

I mean, ok. He absolutely has the right to say these things in the context in which he said them. And it doesn't make him a Bad Person to have said this stuff. But it does make him kind of an obnoxious blowhard, imo.

And yeah, this is definitely pushing his religion onto others.
