No, I don't. It makes sense to me that people would react to Louis CK the way they did. And it makes sense that he would react the way he did.

Okay? I don’t think anyone was confused on the fact that he is being defensive and shitty. What does your understanding actually mean in the discussion?

Writing things like:

"Kudos to all of you saints who react to it by thinking hard about it and doing penance and trying to become better people."

and

"And people delight in engaging in righteous anger together, so really it all works out well for everyone I think. Louis CK gets to glean new material from it and carry on with his career in some capacity, and the angry mob gets to delight in hating him for it."

really makes it seem like you had a problem with the whole enchilada, and the way that people were reacting. It seems very sarcastic and heavy-handed.

That or this anon wanted to show off how ~enlightened, ~understanding and ~superior to the rest of us they are, being able to ~~see both points of view.
