I'm sorry, I'm not trying to argue preferences. The part that doesn't make sense to me is that conflict and tension don't go away after a couple gets together, they just take a different form

If the point is that the new forms of tension and conflict don't interest you as much, that makes sense then, so thanks for clearing it up

Right, before they do it, the tension and conflict is sexually charged. Which is the interesting part to me.

Of course there are some antagonistic relationships that never stop giving in that regard. They get mad at each other, it leads to hot sex, rinse and repeat. That's interesting to me as well.
