Yeah, that's not the explanation.
(Anonymous) 2019-01-26 10:00 pm (UTC)(link)And I am genuinely surprised your introduction came from Tom Felton and not Jared Padalecki. Because I feel like that's been around since early seasons of Supernatural.

(Anonymous) 2019-01-26 10:26 pm (UTC)(link)Agreed about the explanation - it's more like a retroactive explanation maybe.

(Anonymous) 2019-01-27 01:23 am (UTC)(link)I'm not sure where the word actually originated (Urban Dictionary has a date of 2002 on their earliest entry). It's just that I've seen it persistently applied to Padalecki, on this site and many different other places, to the point it felt like that was his defining characteristic to a lot of people, so I was surprised that the secret poster saw it with Tom Felton first.
I've also seen it applied to James Van Der Beek (along with general big head and long face remarks) and Tyra Banks, but Dawson Leery's cry-face and Tyra Banks' smizing and, uh, intensity seemed to be much more, well, prominent.

(Anonymous) 2019-01-27 05:55 pm (UTC)(link)And I wouldn't trust urban dictionary as a definitive resource either.
