Yeah, let’s do this. I think I enjoyed and valued weed more when it was illicit and difficult to obtain and strangers were less likely to talk to me about it.

Sure, it's fine for weed to be illegal, just don't imprison people for buying it or selling it

nayrt but... then it might as well be legal? If there isn't a consequence for using/distributing etc, then having the law is useless.

(Not saying I agree with it being illegal when there's seriously bigger fish to fry, just that it doesn't make sense to have a law and then say hey don't enforce it.)

That's kinda my point, I guess. The coolness of weed being underground and illicit is real but so's the jail time.

Works for me as long as it's scaled to income, like they do with traffic tickets in Scandinavia
