Just like when they nominated American Sniper, and Toy Story 3, and Avatar, and all 3 Lord of the Rings movies?

DA - none of these movies/situations are comparable with each other or with BP's nomination. It makes no sense to list them as if you're proving some point.

Oh and also, the LOTR movies were an unprecedented feat of film-making, if not always good films. They definitely deserved to be nominated.
