Re: When you read a story, how well do you visualize it?
A good example of this happened when I was reading The Pilo Family Circus by Will Elliot. The character voices, appearances and personalities were so salient that I could visualize them with extreme clarity even when very little description (but just enough) was provided. And when I asked my friends (who had also just read the book) to describe how they heard and saw the characters, their descriptions were very similar to mine. Unfortunately the sequel to the book lost its magic even though it was written by the same author.
