I work with an accountant because I'm self-employed and it's too hard and time consuming to try to figure it all out myself, plus I used to get panic attacks when I tried. Mine are basically done for 2018 and it's really nice to have it finished so quickly. I'm getting better and better at my part of the work every year, so yay for that! And yay for tax professionals who keep up with the laws (a lot changed this year here for self-employed people).
