Dude, I was one of those shipping even the idea of Poe/Rey/Finn after TFA came out.

Heck, I'd still like to see that, tbh. In my opinion it at least has a better chance of being healthy than Rey/Kylo which...doesn't. Sorry, Reylo fans.

(look, I like my share of fucked up and unhealthy relationships too so no judgement, just sayin')

Anyway, I think despite Rey and Poe not having hardly any screentime together it's easy to extrapolate a relationship for them. If nothing else, we know that Poe and Finn get along and we know that Rey and Finn get along so we can reasonably assume that Rey and Poe would get along. Poe is generally a well-adjusted adult (who...sometimes leads mutinies and makes bad decisions but at least he was doing it in order to try to save lives, etc). Rey is generally a well-adjusted adult despite having grown up on a desert hellhole of a planet and who seems to be coping remarkably well with everything the universe has thrown at her since BB-8 crossed her path.

Kylo is...not a well-adjusted adult with delusions of grandeur, a serious anger-management problem, and a persecution complex. These things do not make for someone who can function well in a healthy relationship with another person.

So it really depends on whether you want something kinda messed up with probably a lot of hate sex and co-dependency or something a little more balanced with people using their words to express their feelings.

OP appears to prefer the latter, I assume. :)

Not the OP and I don’t really ship anything in the new Star Wars films, but yeah, this. I like Rey and I’d much rather she was paired with someone at least approaching sane—I don’t care if it’s Poe, Finn, Rose, or a poly love quadrilateral, as long as it’s not Kylo Ren (or I guess Hux which is apparently also a thing and just... nope.)
