Cosigned. Like, Book 1 gives me a character I'm designed to love at first sight because she is a teacher who turns into a cat (my life goal tbh) and also a badass older lady and then we barely get to see her by the end.

Professor McGonagall is my favorite character. I liked that she got more attention in the movies. So, yes, good secret!

I liked her better in the movies, too (maybe because they made her braver with stuff like dealing with Moody and the ferret bouncing; or maybe because they cut some of the weirder stuff, like her calling Harry's Crucio 'gallant'.)
