Fic writers, what's your worst beta story?

Ever had a beta who was terrible in some way? Because I am between betas and need encouragement on how it could always be worse.

Never had trouble with a beta, but I've beta'd for writers who were unbelievably arrogant and entitled assholes. And, without fail, they were always the ones who claimed to want honest critique.

I actually posted a secret about it ages ago, but I had a beta who advertised themselves as "no limits" and then freaked out because I sent them a story where one character who had canonically insulted another character actually came back to apologize and they started dating.

And I get it, sometimes people have triggers they don't realize until they're confronted with that sort of situation. But the mature response is to say "I'm sorry, I didn't realize that was a trigger for me until now, I have to withdraw."

Instead they sent me a nasty message about how I was a horrible person to even write this. (But non-con leading to true love is apparently totes ok with them.)

And I know I should just write the rest of the story anyway. But every time I open it, I get the same, sick feeling in the pit of my stomach.
