That scene in The Fellowship of the Ring where Bilbo wants Frodo to let him hold the ring again and goes a freaky ring-crazy for a second. Everyone in the theater jumped.

Oh my, yes. Nazgul? didn't scare me. Flaming eye? Didn't scare me. Giant spider? didn't scare me. Biblbo in that one scene, though? Still scares me a bit every time I watch.

Can't argue with that one.
I still cringe every time I remember how Bilbo's face and voice contorted in that scene. It was exceptionally well acted.
