what's funny is, you don't see this very often in established stories (games, books, tv series, etc). The stereotype of the wizened old timer in the village is extremely common, not to mention the old salt in the harbor, the old fogey alchemist, the geezer farmer, the old lady who actually isn't a witch, etc.

Right!? I assume that people who mistakenly believe everyone died at 45 just assume that the "elderly" in all of these stories are only 40-something, and they just seem much older because...of...the times? Lol.

Shout out to The Aged P from Great Expectations. One of my favorite extremely elderly characters. :)
