Especially since he was so bad at it. I can see her letting him name one, and then being like, OK, new rule. You get to name the owls. They don't care what the humans call them anyway.

What's bad about James Sirius? Albus Severus, yes, that's terrible. James Sirius is cool to me, though.

The concept is nice in theory, although Harry never even knew James and it would have made more sense to name his child after one of the many, many people (living or dead) who he actually had some kind of relationship with. However, the actual name is awkward to say out loud because of the double S. Sirius James would have flowed better, but also sounds like Curious George's no-nonsense uncle.
