+ Yeah, plus, I'm not really sure what people expect from the guy in terms of staying in touch with Harry. If any of my friends had a baby and died, and I was told that the baby was safe with their family, I'm not sure how much I would fight to see that baby...? (especially considering all other things appening at that time in the wizarding world) Being a good friend of somebody's father is not really that much of a connection? The world does not make it very easy for you to stay in touch with a newborn that you are not related to (or in any way close to its guardians).
