Never seen the show, so what makes it pedophilic? I think choosing a screenshot that emphasis your point for the secret would have helped too.

There’s this whole thing with a grown-up dragon repeatedly trying to have sex with a ten-year-old human boy. I’ve also heard it argued that the cute little dragon girl is pedo-bait, but from what I know of the author, he seems to be more attracted to little boys than little girls.

They were putting the little girl dragon in sexualized situations with another little kid, though, so that was a huge problem. There were some good things about the anime but I just couldn't get past the stuff with kids to enjoy it.

Well that's just 50 shades of yuck.

Well if that's the case, I'm not surprised it doesn't get more continuous backlash. Straight shota/female adult×male minor tends to get ignored by most people(Or is even often treated as "the kid is so lucky an adult is trying to rape him lol") so yeah, shitty but sadly not a surprise.

Well, the cute little dragon girl is supposedly hundreds of years old but in all actuality acts like a little girl, including needing to be taken to school and fed and taken care of in all the ways a little girl would, and reacts to everything exactly how you would expect a little girl would to all situations. Except, y'know, totally legal in age setting.
