There is nothing pretty about Padelecki's bulldog of a face except maybe his hair.

DA - I think he looks kind of unfortunate, myself, especially in that picture. But, OTOH, I do like a reasonable amount of chest hair on my dudes. So, you know. Different strokes and all.

True, and if they had just said, "He's not pretty." I probably wouldn't have commented. But going as far as to say, "His bulldog like face" is pretty much not a compliment.

Nayrt but sorry, he's really not attractive at all. He was cute in S1 and S2, maybe, but not even a little now.

Meh, he was a little bit cute in Gilmore Girls. In Supernatural both he and Jensen do nothing for me at all. I might have watched more than five episodes if they did.

They are objectively deformed and ugly, though. nayrt.

Okay. It's not their fault that they've been inbred to encourage extreme brachycephaly to the extent that most of them have extreme difficulty breathing and sometimes their eyes just kind of fall out, and God knows they're sweeter tempered than an animal that suffers that much has any right to be. Certainly, they're sweeter than Jared Padalecki is rumored to be. With that said, it's not a look that anyone should strive for.

I watch it for Cas. The episodes that he’s not in end usually end up boring me.

I thought this was most of fandom? Because I tried watching and the plot is terrible.

See, I liked the first few seasons where it was Monster-of-the-Week oriented, but then the whole overarching plot with the angels and demons just made me not care.

Oh, I dig monster of the week stuff and the subject matter is fine. It's the execution that's poor.

Yeah, I think it was less noticeable to me at the beginning until they started to try and throw everything but the kitchen sink into the plot.

Some people like it because it's a dumb, fun show with monsters and shotguns. Some like because they want the boys to kiss. Some people like it because both.

Yeah, I think that this is a lot of the fandom at this point, even if they admit it or not. Many fans have been watching it for 5, 6, 7 years or even since the beginning so a lot of people are "ride or die" at this point, me included. They have their reasons for watching still, for me it's Cas, Jack, Rowena, and I'm still destiel trash, but I fully admit the show is honestly not very good anymore. This season has been a 6 out of 10 at best.

I still watch for the story but you're not wrong, Anon. Pretty on my screen is a very good thing. :D

JP looks like he should be schilling for Geico in the early aughts to me, but I'm glad you're into it.

I think Dean's actor looks like what a AI will think humans find attractive put together on one human--something doesn't look right even though all individual parts are fine. Like he looks like the average of a lot of body parts.

That's. .. an eerie idea that I can totally see.
