But people are supposed to have hair, OP! How can something that natural be disgusting?

Thanks for the pretty pic!

(not OP)

people are supposed to have hair

not everyone, no. it depends on your region of birth, but thanks for the assumption.

Except you still have body hair and pubic hair and hair on your head, and it is still a natural human condition. You might be on a different point on a sliding scale of Leo DiCaprio to Robin Williams, but it’s still true.

Not OP, but ... the smell of sweat is natural too. So are zits, poop, dandruff and smegma.

You can have those if you want..?

Everything you described there is the body shedding wastes. Body hair is no more a waste product than the hair on your head. What if I just expressed really visceral disgust at say redheads or everyone with curly hair? Sure, everyone is entitled to preferences yadda yadda, but in a civil society they ought to realize there are appropriate ways to express them. I get extremely uncomfortable at the level of revulsion people seem comfortable spewing over something that is just genetic happenstance.

I wouldn't personally go as far as to call body hair disgusting, but you make a very good point here. Plenty of natural bodily traits/functions are accepted by most people as gross.

Because attraction is different in everyone? Women generally have body hair too, but they are expected to remove it. I think that is stupid because no one should be required to cater to someone else's tastes. But it is okay to have the taste. It is okay to not be into body hair. And OP didn't say body hair was disgusting, they said it disgusted them. Those are very different things, actually. One is claiming they are objectively gross while the other is saying that they gross you out personally. Which is okay. it is okay to be grossed out by body hair.

Because body hair captures odors and sweat and is generally gross? I don't have anything against pubic hair, but chest and armpit hair are grody. And there are a lot of natural parts of the body that are fucking gross.

DA ...your issue with "grody" body hair is that it captures odors and sweat, and yet you're OK with pubic hair?? Seems backwards.

Rubbish. Perhaps you have heard of "washing"? Also as awrty below says, your comment does not even contain internal logic.
