yeah does it really go all the way from his sternum to his groin? Bc ewww. I prefer no chest hair but that's just bc none of the guys I knew growing up had any. In college I learned to tolerate a little but I've never seen a solid treasure trail all the way from the chest on down. Weird.

I just keep thinking, whatever gene it is that dictates that hair will grow down the center of a torso but not on either side is such an odd gene. I mean, why? Brows I get, for protecting the eyes. Head, armpits, and groin mainly for warmth retention. I presume chest is partially hereditary and also probably related to T levels and T sensitivity levels. But why the center of the sternum? Also T levels and heredity? It's just odd, when I think about it, to grow a line of hair that's not protecting anything.

AYRT

IKR? I believe hair in areas of folds is useful as a buffer to reduce friction and thus irritation and possible infection, so thanks Darwin for the armpit and groin hair! Between and around the pecs it would sense (though not why most don't women have it), but the belly?

It's all a puzzle!

Because yummm. Seen it on lots of guys [grew up in the 70s], maybe your friends waxed?
