I miss the LiveJournal days. I used to write everyday and had a pretty wide circle of journals/friends and would have such fun commenting and replying to comments.


What's something (trend/website/etc) from the internet past that you miss?

I kind of miss the geocities website madness sometimes. The fanpages and circles and free for all was something else.

I miss fan forums! My biggest one shut down and the little one we made died out because there weren't many of us left. I met some fantastic people on there though and have maintained friendships with some still.

Ugh yes I miss forums in general. I used to frequent a few for fandom, and then others for general interests and I loved the set up. It was a whole little unique community.

I love gossip but don’t like celebrities or high-maintenance friends so it was a dream come true. 🥺

Fandomwank was so thorough in their reporting (I'm thinking MsScribe and CassieClare kerfuffles) it was a whole other level of drama. I loved it.

Fandomwank was less fun once it started to focus more on finding things to be outraged about. But in the early days, when it was more about fandom pointing out how ridiculous fandom could be? That was a blast!
