I just want to say that while I WANT to call this secret wrong because I think Beast is so much cooler and better than Snape... it strikes me that I cannot actually come up with any counterargument as to how the two aren't alike. I mean, they both have the social graces of swine and dwell on things far too much...

Oh wait, I decided to stop worrying about arguing this point and instead get a mental image of Snape with TOELASERS. He he. It's funny. And afterwards he looks EXACTLY the same and everyone just wonders why he started the lasershow in the first place.

130. Amy Winehouse and Carrot Top... why? I am honestly curious: why?

153. Well, why do you hate her? And why do you think she is ruining the whole manga for you? I personally cannot see how a single character you hate in quite a large cast of characters that I assume you find appealing otherwise would be enough to turn you against a whole manga.

I just don't feel her character is very developed, and all the characters seem to love her. It just bothers me because I want to like her because she's so important to the storyline, but...I just can't.

Mmm, it happens. Perhaps it is like it is for me and Sasuke from Naruto: I am hardly if EVER attracted to the 'moody avenger with a chip on his shoulder to EVERYONE' (Hi Kanda)type, and since that is just what Sasuke is him taking up such a HUGE part of the latter storyline and being so important irks me somewhat fierce, because I just don't LIKE the character. Would you say it's something like that: it's a character whose type just isn't appealing but who has become a big damn deal anyway and you just have to DEAL with them, like it or not?

Yeah, I guess you're right. It really is a good manga, and I want to stick with it, it's just that almost every time she comes up I can't help but think I'd rather be hearing about another character (like Miranda!). But then, I guess if you can't stand the heat you get out the kitchen, and since I happen to love the other characters I'll stick with it.

The Wombats.

That's Seirei no Moribito--and looking at the Adult Swim line up, it looks like the name is the same. It is absolutely awesome.

Oho. Care to divulge what it is about? I know that I can wiki it and get it in a few seconds flat, but I think it's a bit more fun to get descriptions from a more... partial source.

The character there, Balsa, is a female mercenary, and probably one of the best actiony female characters I've ever seen in a fantasy. She's strong, but also sympathetic, and more importantly to me, she's flawed and mature. She also beat the normal anime age of incompetence--she's thirty, and they don't act like she's ancient or she's weird. She ends up being asked to protect the second prince of this nation from his own father, because he's possessed, supposedly, by an evil water spirit. The story is handled very well. And while the fight scenes aren't as plentiful as I'd wish, they are probably the best I've ever seen in anime.

They're not necessarily for everyone, but if you like action girls, good world building, and sort of Asian inspired fantasy settings, it's a good one. Also, the art and animation are very, very good. All the characters are wonderfully written, and complex, and the guy in this icon was Balsa's mentor and teacher, and has some exceptionally awesome moments toward the end of the show.

Which is over, and complete, at 26 episodes (if I remember right) which makes it a really nice change of pace from some series that go on and on and on forever.

Although the question still remains: why ARE they shipping whoever with Carrot Top of all people?

The girl in the secret is Vanessa Hudgens from "High School Musical". Why would they ship her with Carrot Top? Not even this HSM fangirl can figure that one out. Why would someone ship Carrot Top with anyone? Though with Amy Winehouse it could be pretty funny....
