Yes. I liked Krum, and felt really irritated by Ron's possessive thing with Hermione. Plus I'm generally not fond of bff ships.

(They are my real HP OTP! I shipped it before JKR canoned it. I thought that my noticing of subtext was just a result of having been in fandom too long!)

LOL, no, that isn't the reason why I said that. I was just like "who is another 'love interest' in Hermione's life" and Krum is still the first one who comes to mind for me.

(I did too. A lot of 'ships are ones I just grow into eventually, but even through my first read of DH I was shipping them. \o/)

(They're just so DOOMED. And are charming idealists with sociopathic tendencies. I suspect I would have shipped Professor X/Magneto if I'd been more into X-Men, and hadn't watched the cartoon as a kid.)
