Looking at bother their IMDB lists, it seems Collins has about as many bit parts as Sheppard. Also, Collins has all of his charity stuff he does to keep him busy.

Yes, and Cas wasn't his first role. It's his most famous but he had other and could still have others after. I think he will be okay.

He'll always have Stonehenge Apocalypse.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-07 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
So will we all.

Haha that movie.

I do agree that Cas’s character seems to have stagnated and I wish he’d do more badass things (or turn human again so he has a legit reason for being such a weakling). However, I love Cas and he’s seriously the only reason I’m still watching Supernatural, so I want him to stick around.

Hey, it's showbiz

(Anonymous) 2019-02-07 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
Shit, if I were him, I'd keep riding that money train as long as possible, invest wisely and then never have to work again.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-07 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
Didn't he make a stand and save baby Jack? and then he pretty much was a father to Jack...he was the one Jack was waiting for and that validated that little family in Jack's eyes. Before that, Jack really distrusted the Winchesters and that could have gone bad for the whole world. It was a nice turn, to have Cas vindicated for once.

And then Cas almost lost Jack to his illness.

I don't know what show you're watching, but Cas is a devoted dad. That's a nice story arc.

Honestly, even though I like Jack, I think the "Dad Cas" arc is boring. Maybe it's just me, but it didn't feel natural. I think the show needed to spend more time with Cas and Kelly to develop their friendship and devotion to Jack because Cas wanting to protect Jack after the unborn baby showed him the paradise he would create felt an awful lot like brainwashing.

I enjoy this storyline too.

DA

Comments like this are why I keep coming back to Fandom Secrets. :D

I think I accidentally actually exorcised it. Whoops?

(Anonymous) 2019-02-07 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
I didn’t see the original comment, but that makes it even funnier.

(Anonymous) 2019-02-07 11:46 am (UTC)(link)
Now my interest is piqued! What was the original comment?

(Anonymous) 2019-02-08 06:18 am (UTC)(link)
I can't remember now, lol! Just that it was like, an olympic level run-on sentence without even a comma in it anywhere.

He's directed an episode or two, heads a charity, runs a scavenger hunt, has published poetry, and does woodworking. Even if he didn't act anymore, I'm sure he'd stay busy.

Mark plays drums and does gigs. And he gets paid to be a hotel influencer. And Mark's wife is a fuckin' rich heiress.

Neither of these men need to work in acting ever again, they've made so much from the convention circuit (plus, there's always more conventions.)
