IDK. Obviously, there's no objective definition for how annoyed OP is, or how annoyed OP is allowed to be. But there were at least annoyed enough to make a secret about it, and my reaction to that secret is that I don't think it's that annoying. A lot of people like it, it's clearly meaningful to them, and good for them. That's my response to the secret so that's the comment I made.

I get that. It still seems a little dismissive to say "What's the harm?" in response to someone being annoyed. Is that a reaction you'd welcome every time you expressed even mild annoyance about something?

I made one post in response to somebody who submitted a secret for people to comment on. So I'm not really sure how to answer that question.

That's fine. I was just curious if this is something you felt was okay for yourself as well as other people.

If I say something that strikes someone as objectionable, then I understand there's a chance someone will respond because that's generally how the internet works.

OK.

DA

OP is allowed to be annoyed.

Commenters are allowed to be dismissive.

See how that works?

just wanted to say that I support your right to be annoyed about anon being annoyed about anon being annoyed about OP being annoyed
