I... I can't see any difference at all? His hair is lighter in the first one? What am I meant to be looking at here???

I think maybe they used to dye them lighter, or they started plucking them more? The photos mainly look different to me due to lighting.

I'm not sure what they mean by cartoon brows, but his lighter eyebrows kind of blend into his skin tone a bit, which happens with some fair-haired, fair-skinned people, which can make it sort of seem like they're browless at times.

Yeah, I see no real difference that couldn't be explained by angle or lighting.
