Small things about yourself that you consider vital to your identity

I never realized how much care about being born in February meant to me until I thought about being born in January.

Wearing at least 3 rings on my fingers. I started in high school and I feel naked whenever I'm not wearing all of them. I often think about how obvious it will be if I'm ever murdered that they were stolen because of the imprints they've left on my fingers.

Being born in February. Being an Aquarius. (Being a Leo moon with Taurus ascendant. I have a Leo moon tattoo.)

Having a plastic surgery scar.

Having a scar on a joint from a mussel.

Having big boobs.

My fandoms.

Tell me about this mussel scar, please. Did you cut yourself on the shell?

I was swimming in Seneca Lake when I was about 8 years old and a zebra mussel clamped down on my left kneecap.

Looking like other people in my family. It's weirdly reassuring to know I have a people that other people would be able to identify me as belonging to.

Wearing clothes that I picked and like the colour and texture of. I never feel good in clothes other people buy for me.

I like the scar my friend gave me accidentally before she died. I have this physical mark on my skin that will always be there and it's proof that she existed.

Living near the mountain. I always think about every other place I live as temporary. That's home. I feel a physical pull to that place and I don't want to leave. I can see it from my window here and it's still not close enough. I need to wake up hearing the birds and smelling how damp and fresh everything is. I don't feel like me when I'm not home.
