Okay! This is super late, and I'm seriously the /worst/ at searching for things, but-! I love YGO, and want to help!
About how long would you say 'fairly long' is? (as a fan of marathon length fic, I'm not exactly sure;; be it 15,000-30,000, or 75,000-120,000;; /though be it YGO, i'm guessing the former/shorter even;;) Do you remember if it had any other pairings, or major characters in general?

Same with the other fic! I'll look the best I can, but if you can guess at the length/whatever else, even my inability to search for things, I might be able to find something!

(the first thing that comes to mind without looking, is a fic where the Ishtars work as mediums, Kai/Jou is a sub paring so I doubt that's it though)
