Lots of younger people don't know the details of Bundy's crimes, unless they're into true crime. To a lot of people under 40, he's just another one of those serial killers that died before they were born.
The other anon sounds like they might have been alive when Bundy was alive, and is going into watching the trailer going "of course everyone else would have heard of this guy and his heinous crimes, he was famous" but like... tons of people who are in their 20s have no idea. And are just seeing this portrayal of Bundy as a kooky guy who was supposedly real based on a true story etc etc. The idea that Bundy was legitimately horrible isn't in their heads as a foundation because they literally weren't alive at the time and have barely heard of the guy.
