Even if the movie is totally different, releasing a trailer for it that's cut to give that impression is still very fucked up and worthy of criticizing

Cool, enjoy your criticizing!

I will, you enjoy being edgier than everyone else

The funny thing is that I'm 1000% percent sure I'm older than all of you. I used to be the young person who thought grandma and her moralizing was so uncool. Now it's you young people who think us grandmas are so uncool with our edginess LOL. C'est la vie.

What does how old you are have to do with anything

DA

In this specific instance, I'd say more than you'd think, but not necessarily how that anon means it. Lots of younger people don't know the details of Bundy's crimes, unless they're into true crime. To a lot of people under 40, he's just another one of those serial killers that died before they were born.

The other anon sounds like they might have been alive when Bundy was alive, and is going into watching the trailer going "of course everyone else would have heard of this guy and his heinous crimes, he was famous" but like... tons of people who are in their 20s have no idea. And are just seeing this portrayal of Bundy as a kooky guy who was supposedly real based on a true story etc etc. The idea that Bundy was legitimately horrible isn't in their heads as a foundation because they literally weren't alive at the time and have barely heard of the guy.
