111. Heroes is wonderful at creating awesome characters you really want to know more about, and then shoving them into the background or out of the story entirely, aren’t they? (A bitter Claude-fangirl, me? Nonsense!)

At least with Claude, they want to bring him back, but it's more an issue of actor availability than anything else. Granted, that may be a problem with Rena Sofer as well, but I doubt they're even interested in bringing Heidi back -- they seem more inclined to just have her out of the way asap so they can make Nathan hook up with whichever character Ali Larter is playing at the moment. I always love seeing marriage portrayed as an irritating, inconvenient little fly that must be swatted so that the characters can have hot flings whenever they want. *alsobitter*

I would agree with you if Nathan had hooked up with anybody last season. But he didn't so... they're just plain ignoring Heidi. Which is pretty lame, because, yeah, she's his wife. But then that gets me thinking... I have a pet theory that Angela's ability is persuasion through touch. So Heidi vanished in S2 because Angela held her hand and told her to take Simon and Monty and leave Nathan. So, I dunno, if the persuasion wears off, maybe we'll see more of her in S3.
