And yet, most of the bald actors thrown up to refute said statement are action leads, not romantic hero leads. This would imply that one can still be attractive and not be the hunky romantic hero type.

I'm assuming they mean dramas and romcoms and stuff. A bald guy won't be, for example, metaphorically playing the Mr. Darcy in anything... as far as I've seen anyway

I thought they were talking about romantic HERO leads as in action movies with romance.

I find it odd that anyone thinks Evans would want to do a romcom. Drama, sure. But you don't need hair for that.

Not necessarily. I think it's more that Hollywood rarely casts bald/balding guys romantic leads. Action leads, yep. OP isn't in charge of movie casting, presumably, so it's not at all an indication of what OP thinks.
