To me this echoes the feeling of so many women sacrificed for the careers of men on TV and in movies over the years, so yeah, I'm with you, it's gross. I'm sure the OP meant it as a joke, but I honestly don't think it's funny to talk about sacrificing people for the sake of old white men anymore. No matter how "nice" they supposedly are. (I should say ANY men tbh)
