Alas, they do. And the masks and costumes do a *spectacular* job of killing micro-expression, those poor actors.

Still, the story goes a lot of interesting places, and I'm glad I pushed through the first couple of episodes.

(And Michael is distractingly beautiful, there's that, too.)
