Doesn't Dumbledore say to Harry that (? someone? people in general? himself?) could see that he was beginning to relate to Sirius as "a combination of father and older brother," in terms of Sirius' role in his life? Like, that is an actual specific quote I remember very clearly. I think it was from OotP, possibly after Sirius dies.
