I love that ice on the waves scene.

"It looks so ugly after Spiderverse!" ok but Disney isn't going to change the entire art style of their cash cow franchise bc someone else did it.

I've only seen the trailer for Spiderverse... but between the two, it'd be the one I'd call 'ugly'? Or maybe confused and seizureriffic.

It takes a little getting used to, but it certainly fits the story. I can definitely understand how some people might find it uncomfortable.

Totally different style and aesthetic. Post-processing animation to look like low-budget print comics works well for a comic book movie but not for largely original feature animation.

Right? It might be cool to see some princess pop art but...it doesn't fit.
