We both took the week off and we're staying at a luxury hotel in Miami rn. For Valentines we're doing an early fancy dinner at a ridiculously fancy place, and then we're going to wander around the beachy shopping area marina thingy nearby.

idk what we're going to do after that, it kind of depends how crowded everything is. At some point late in the evening we're going to finish off the night at a different fancy reservation-only type place for drinks + dessert and I'm going to propose. Assuming I don't die of fright earlier in the day, that is. (I am fucking terrified.)

Working for one of my coworkers so he can spend the day with his boyfriend. I need the money, but I still wish I could take Valentine’s Day off to spend with a (so far nonexistent) boyfriend.

I will be working and trying not to feel sorry for myself. (I don't know why I should. Lots of people are single and I usually didn't do anything for Valentine's Day even when I could.)

Not sure if I need any chocolate but I'm keeping an eye on the Valentine's Day cupcakes in the supermarket.

I work at a school, so we're gonna have a Valentine's Day party. I made mini muffins and truffles for my friends and family and I'll distribute those tomorrow. I'll probably spend the afternoon watching anime and eating chocolates.

Quiet day with the spouse. I guess I'm just really unlucky because I never catch any good post-holiday chocolate sales. Stores mark it 20% off MAYBE, and I don't consider that an amazing bargain.

I don't have a boyfriend so I would go for the chocolate sale if I wasn't on a diet. I don't intend to screw up my diet, I lost a lot of weight and I'm proud of it.
