IMO Channing Tatum was hot in The Eagle, which I think was because a) he looked really good in the period costumes (I am a sucker for historical costumes) and b) the homoeroticism of Marcus and Esca added a pleasant flair. But, outside of that movie, he is one of those people that I can tell are "objectively" hot (as in, I can tell that his looks fit well into the conventional definition of attractiveness as it is generally understood in our current society), but who does nothing for me at all. But he does come across as a very pleasant person, as far as I have seen. I don't want to date him, but I feel like he would be fun to hang out with.

He seems fun, and also kind, and also smart, and he's also an excellent dancer

It 100% makes sense to me why people are into him

Yeah, in terms of personality, he seems like a great guy. He gives me the impression of the grown-up version of the popular nice guy in high school who was everyone's buddy and didn't really care about the fact that everyone thought he was hot stuff. I can see why people are into it. He just isn't my type physically/romantically.
