It makes me sad too, but 14 years seems like a good run to me, especially considering that no one was around to do maintenance or repairs.

Apparently it was already in a deteriorating condition when the dust storm finally got it. I didn't realize it was in such bad shape, but it was put together quick and dirty, and like you said, no one was there to fix it, so it is impressive it lasted do long!
