My Jason Isaacs awakening was The Patriot. Yes, I saw him in Dragonheart, but he didn't stick out for me. The Patriot was where my loins started quivering.

And yes, Jason in more things. He's a brilliant actor, even if I am shallow.

Just looking at him, I feel like he would've made a really good James Bond. But maybe that's because he's like 2/3rds younger!Timothy Dalton, 1/3rd Daniel Craig.

I agree so much! I watched all kinds of great and crappy stuff just because of him. Hero, villain, whatever - he can do it all! I usually buy/watch things because of actors I love, and the list of things I bought/watched solely for Jason Isaacs is the longest in my collection. *g*

I love Jason Isaacs. I loved Discovery. I loved distrusting Lorca from the second I saw him. I loved loving Lorca from the second I saw him.

I would love for him to be in Star Wars &/or the MCU, that would be awesome. He's such a good actor & even if the movie is shit, I always enjoy his performance.
