The Neverending Story. CGI would make the worlds look so much more amazing. Plus, they can get rid of some of the really boring parts.

Vampire$ by John Steakley. Made into a movie by John Carpenter. Proceeded to kill off all the main characters about fifteen minutes in, thus changing the WHOLE FUCKING STORY.

I just want a truer to the book version. :(

TBH I'd be fine if they made exactly the John Carpenter version just not starring James Woods

The Lloyd-Webber Phantom of the Opera starting leads that can actually sing and directed by Guillermo del Toro instead of Joel “Batnipples” Schumacher. Also with a different costume designer and set after the Franco-Prussian war instead of in some kind of AU 1871 Paris where it didn’t happen. And at the actual Garnier because it’s basically a character in itself.

I kind of want to see 'Firefly', with more Asian people, and rather less of Whedon's weird sexism smeared all over the script; but that's never gonna happen. Or at least, not for another 20 years, minimum.

I honestly can't see Whedon letting someone else do that while he still lives.

I guess I just think, what are you really getting out of calling it Firefly? Just make another thing with space Western vibes.

The Percy Jackson series. Because I thought I'd never see a good adaptation of A Series of Unfortunate Events, but now we have an amazing tv series that was not only really good at adapting the books but they were able to expand the story and world building that revitalized my interest in a series I wasn't that into anymore, so why not give another book series that I loved that got screwed over by the movie industry another chance at visual mass media?
