Honestly, I like a big forehead. I don't know what it is. Maybe it seems to give room for expression in the eyebrows, and versatility in how you wear your hair (because like you said, you could have bangs if you wanted). But my forehead is more like a threehead, and as a cosplayer it makes fitting wigs hard, it makes shaping my eyebrows to characters hard, and just all around I hate it. ...maybe I spend way too much time comparing the relative proportions of character faces.
