People on the internet are very judgy about infidelity even in fiction, when 50% of women and 55% of men cheat.

It's bad, but it's not that uncommon, and it's an interesting storyline instead of making every character a perfect person who never fucks up.

Yeah maybe those of us who are being judgy are the ones who don't cheat? Also, as we've said below, it's less about her cheating, and more about drugging her husband.

Also for me, I think it was because the show sets it up to paint her as this morally superior character and we're supposed to see her that way even AFTER what she does to Rhys, which is baffling to me.

Like, everyone in the show is fucked up in some sort of way, including Gwen. They've all done morally questionable things, but we're supposed to believe she's this perfect princess who can do no wrong?

Original commenter here. I've never cheated but been cheated on. Still don't see the need to get the judgement stick out for it. People make mistakes, human relationships are complicated, every human being is capable of making mistakes and being an asshole.
