103. Lol. Sounds cool. Dunno who it is, but sounds cool.

105. I remember back when I played Blue, that I rather desperately wanted to be able to chat with Lance. I even put off playing against him until I could do it alone, just so I could pretend that, unlike the other bosses, we got some banter in. Name like Lance, looks hot, trains dragons? Keen!
...too bad my little step-brother kind of ruined the name for me.

110. I realised recently (thank you Transformers:Animated) that how much I love a "children's" show is directly proportionate to how dark they're willing to go. That said...there is no better ending I can think of than the one Aang gave the war. Because honestly, it was a struggle. The odds against him being able to end it and still keep his soul in teact were almost impossible, and you felt that struggle, and it made it all the more beautiful. He had perfect reasons for feeling the way he did about nonviolence, it had been set up all through the series. The fact that ever single person was against him being able to do it, and that he had to fight against himself...look, it was just epic.
Now, me, I like ending things decisively. I would've been Sokka demonstrating on the Melon King what finishing meant. But --and I do not say this lightly-- a darker ending would've made Avatar lesser than what it was. Of all the shows, books, fandoms I've ever loved, Avatar is the closest that's ever come to perfect.

114. Mmm, Jayne. Always makes me think of a Doberman puppy.

116. Huh. Not that I know of. I hope not; it would hurt too much watching without Wash. It's just not fair to shift the whole dynamic of the cast like that in a movie and not even be able to do it in a series as intended.
There are comics. You can check those, I guess.

118. I think tl;dr as a summary of your own thing is fine, sort of like giving a thesis statement or something. I think responding tl;dr to something someone else (a friend?!) said is one of the rudest things I've heard (well, rude in general, passing to rudest if it's actually a person you know and consider a friend).

138. Mm, not the best reason to end a friendship, and yet, I think I can understand (especially if it was already rocky). That's really a lame outlook on things. ("Disgusting human?" Really?)

143. Y'know, technically, the Beatles are my oldest fandom, in that "John, Paul, George, and Ringo" were among my first words and that I grew up steeped in them in a way my sibs never did. But I am so so so glad that I just am not involved in the fandom at all. (The only friends I have in that fandom are sane, sane people who never seem to ship things in normal fandoms either).

144. Well. It's a movie. He's hot. It's truth. Sorry. BUT. In the reality of the situation, I can understand. I think one of my favourite fics involved him kissing a girl (to screw with her head) and her hating it, not the least because it tasted gross. Look at those teeth--when's the last time they saw a toothbrush? Or some Scope?

146. Awwww. Y'know, this kind of reminds me of "Who Wants to Be a Superhero" when Feedback got a chance to tell Stan Lee exactly what he meant to him. Until then, I didn't really-really care who won, but right then, I knew it had to be him (partially because he'd never come out of his house again otherwise, I was sure). We made fun, but lovingly, because at the same time, I thought it was wonderful that this fellow geek got to tell his childhood hero how much he had been to him.

164. Not even in the fandom, but one of the best secrets ever. Seriously. Points for presentation, cleverness, and originality both of secret and design. ... Y'know, I feel like we should have F!S awards or something.

171. Run, everyone, the fun police are here. Even if I tpta;;y agree with #6. Also, what do you mean, "Where were these people before TDK?" What, so if you love a fandom, you should be making secrets of it all the time or something?
