Word! I'm afraid maybe we don't get to play because the author may have a little difficulty to differentiate the countries enough in his mind to give them personalities. Other than that, I totally agree with you that at least Argentina and Brazil should represent (sorry if you're in Paraguay or Uruguay!). The subtext and love/hate between those two would be totally awesome to contemplate. And UK/USA shouldn't be the only colonist/colonees relationship.

I think Paragua should be let in too... Because there's more than soccer rivalty in South America. What about Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay ganging up to beat Paraguay?? I'm missing that ._.

I find awfully sad Portugal isn't portrayed in the comic. It's RIGHT THERE in Europe and and and...! What about Salazarism..? And it's relationship with France and England?!

Concordo com você que tem mais que futebol na América do Sul. Eu tava pensando mais nas Guerras do Prata, a questão das fronteiras e o fato de que o Uruguai foi durante muito tempo cabo de guerra dos dois países.

Claro que se possível, a Guerra do Paraguai seria ótimo, assim como a Guerra do Pacífico, a do Chaco etc... a Inglaterra atiçando por trás seria um bônus ^^

E Portugal também faz falta! Se nós podemos ter Lituânia, porque não Portugal?

Southamerican history is epic. The subtext/love/hate between Argentina, Chile, Peru and Bolivia remains 'till today. And Chile even entered the WWII. For about two minutes, declaring war to Japan right after USA dropped the bomb in Hiroshima.

I vote for fancharacters, as I've been telling to the other people agreeing with this secret.

Epic is a good way to describe it. All the quadruple frontiers made for some really interesting alliances systems. Brazil was also in WWII! there were troops in Italy! For about four minutes, but still. The country got the right to participate in peace negotiations for that. And for a while some people wanted to fight with Germany. That's a lot of history

Fancharacters are cool, but only if I can still see England dealing with the Falklands/Malvinas question. It would be a thing of beauty.

Portugal is my new number one vote for next character (not that anyone asked). It would be such an interesting character... and with the delicious relations with France/Spain/England above mentioned.
