I'm also in this weird place where historical inaccuracies bug me sometimes but not others and a lot of it depends on the era or event being depicted. There are some things where we don't know a lot about it. As long as everything seems to be in a consistent, realistic ballpark for what we do know I'll allow some spicing up. Or even if you obey the rules you set up in your own damned interpretation that's better than nothing. But it will still bother me if creators act like everything they did is 100% true facts and play up to any viewer belief that it's 100% true facts.
But when you're talking about historical periods (usually modern) where we have LOADS on record then yes, historical inaccuracy becomes more bothersome in general. I still don't see the point in raging too hard about it though and will happily have some cool conversations with people about the real events.
Overall I'm good with accepting most things as historical inspired fiction. It's like someone wrote AU fanfiction of an actual historical event I guess?
When people complain about actual fantasy in a generic medieval like society being inaccurate though I just role my eyes.
