To be honest, I did like it the first few times I heard it, but all the radio stations I listen to have been overplaying it like crazy and I went from thinking it was a nice song to immediately reaching for the dial whenever I’d hear it . . . only for it to be playing on the other station.

Aw, yeah overplay is a good way for people to hate songs. Honestly, I never listen to the radio because if I have to listen to the same songs ten times, I want it to be songs of my choosing, so I always use my mp3 player.

Of course this also means I live under a proverbial pop-cultureless rock according to my BFF. XD

If it's playing all the time right now, it's likely the Weezer cover of "Africa". But yes, I love Toto's version - Weezer's is pretty close, but I still <3 the original.

Have you seen the video with Weird Al Yankovic covering Africa with Weezer?
The way Weird Al fondles his accordion in the middle of the song is both epic and stupid at the same time.
