In [livejournal.com profile] gurren_lagann, though more recent info seems to show he dies half way through the movie, at the one hour point.

The only other thing I will say to that secret is I think I know more Kamina fanboys than fangirls. Serious, I love the guy, but my fiance absolutely ADORES him.
