Good question. I mean, rereading the series, "Forests" isn't the best book in the world, but I LOVED it to death when I was younger and read it (and the next few, but I don't like the shapeshifters) several times.

I want to see Kirsten Stewart as Risika. I think it's more fitting. XD

176. I hope you know for sure that these "fake fandom lesbians" are as fake as you say. Otherwise, it would be rather unfair to call them that. Plenty of females come out to their fandom friends, and they're simply not as paranoid as you are about being judged wrongly. It could help you to be less cynical. ♥

I'm not saying that all lesbians in fandom are fake, but a good deal of them are, for the attention. I've known a few fake ones, but I've also known some that are genuinely lovely people and aren't faking it in any way.

It's just that after so long, people will probably assume that I'm faking it because I'm a crossplayer and because I've pretended not to be for so long. After saying 'I'm straight!' for so many years, it's a scary thing to have to tell everyone who's ever known you that you're lying.

All my IRL friends are also involved in fandom, and I've hid in the closet IRL as well, it scares me to come out.

It's more a paranoia of judgment than anything else. Nothing against the fandom itself.
