176. (Slightly OT: Marimite pic! Glee!) I was also a lesbian way before getting into fandom, and all I have to say is: don't worry about it. Yes, there's all the talk about "fake fandom lesbians" and jokes about lesbians RPing yaoi, but really? It's not worth the headache. And trust me, haven't most queer folks done the whole "Oh! Yes, of course I like the opposite gender! Let me go drool over this guy/girl so you won't suspect anything!" at least once?
Life is way too short to worry if someone on the other side of a computer screen thinks you're faking it. And love is too sweet to be shortchanged that way.
