What about sequels? I like Teen Wolf Too better than Teen Wolf. Granted, I was in a bad mood when I watched Teen Wolf, but it's also just not good. Teen Wolf Too is BAD, but like, in a hilarious way.

And on the subject, I actually quite liked the first two seasons of MTV's Teen Wolf. Those were definitely better than Teen Wolf.

The new True Grit is better than the original.

Huh? The Coen version of True Grit is pretty faithful to the original. It's the Hathaway adaptation with John Wayne that falls short.

And I know that nobody actually cares and it really doesn't matter, but it's one of those minor things that always grinds my gears. The Coen brothers movie just... isn't a remake, in any way.

Also, everyone should read the book, it's amazing!

Hee. I wouldn't say *better* - I'd say as much, because the original GB had some really fun moments and lines, and I adore Annie Potts.

But yeah - GB2 kicked ass.

The Lord of the Rings movies were better than the books. There, I said it.

It got stuff wrong but it was a million times more accessible and they actually made me care about the characters and the journey instead of just feeling like I was reading an encyclopedia.
