Right? And they're really into pretending it's all some amazing neutral "reversal of gender roles" when it's really just "forcing male characters into submissive=female gender roles to do things that squick me if done to women" - which for some reason is supposed to have no negative connotations at all.

So, in a society where women have historically been forced into submissive roles for centuries by men, you're gonna shit on and laugh at women for turning it around and finding enjoyment in putting men in that position for once in fiction? Why does this bother you/make you a smug asshole?

Bacause nobody should be forced, be it a man or a woman. Turnaround does not make this right.

Yes, and? Like it or not, "female = submissive" has been a binary placed on us since the dawn of time. Are you seriously trying to argue otherwise? I don't think guilt tripping women for getting their rocks off on men being put in a submissive role is anymore "progressive" or "woke" on your part. Also, again, nobody equated pregnancy with humiliation, stop projecting.
