And they're really into pretending it's all some amazing neutral "reversal of gender roles" when it's really just "forcing male characters into submissive=female gender roles to do things that squick me if done to women" - which for some reason is supposed to have no negative connotations at all.

Yes, and? Like it or not, "female = submissive" has been a binary placed on us since the dawn of time. Are you seriously trying to argue otherwise? I don't think guilt tripping women for getting their rocks off on men being put in a submissive role is anymore "progressive" or "woke" on your part. Also, again, nobody equated pregnancy with humiliation, stop projecting.
